Capital Park Share Space
The Government of BC’s Share Space provides government employees a drop-in area to collaborate and interact with others, outside of the regular office spaces. Cygnus was brought on to design window graphics and feature walls that are inviting, friendly, and lively to create a sense of place and encouragement within the environment.
The inspiration behind our designs emerged from the colourful furniture and architecture of the office space. The earthy and organic elements encouraged Cygnus to pull designs from leaves and foliage and abstract them into different shapes and intersections that could then be used to form window and wall graphics. Drawing on the 4000 Seymour LWS office, we worked to incorporate a washing station in the kitchen, providing additional information on recycling to the employees in a fun, dynamic way.
